From Misery to Elation
It was a weekend of many mixed emotions for the Berwick Bandits fans. On Saturday they plummeted out of the KO Cup to Kings Lynn with a miserable home defeat 26-57(curtailed after 14 Heats due to curfew)... but turned it all around on Sunday with a fabulous 42-48 away win in the Premier League at Glasgow. All riders chipped in with solid points apart from young Greg Blair who found the going a wee bit tough, not unexpectedly though! The away points now move Berwick to joint 6th in the PL with Birmingham and Redcar.
The day after the Grand Prix at Cardiff (28th June) Berwick are away to the Stoke Potters. Berwick will welcome Tero Aarnio back into the team at reserve slot after his recent injury lay off and must fancy their chances of at least keeping it close.
