Tonight Pepe made his debut for the Sheffield Tigers in a challenge match against Elite League Belle Vue Aces.

Starting with a third place in heat 4, he had to wait until the final bend of heat 7 to claim his first victory as a Tiger, overtaking Leigh Lanham in the process.

Pepe finished third after losing out in the scrap with James Wright for second place in heat 11, however the Czech managed a second place in heat 13 ahead of GP Star Tai Woffinden to take his total to 7+1 from his four rides.

Sheffield managed to hold Belle Vue to a last heat decider, just losing out 43-47 in the end.
