Pepe had a night to forget suffering a heavy fall in his third outing followed by an engine failure in his final ride of the evening, however Sheffield continued their improved form of late with a comfortable home win over Berwick.

Things started off well for Pepe with a win ahead of team mate Josh Auty over Anders Anderson and Paul Clews.

In his second ride he finished third in a 4-2 heat advantage with Josh Auty winning the race.
