Speedway Profile

Pepe first rode speedway when he was just 15 years of age at the Marketa Stadium in Prague.

He joined Berwick in 2001 as one of Berwick's great eastern block discoveries. His official UK Debut came for Berwick against Sheffield on March 31st 2001 scoring 3 + 1 from 3 rides.

In 2007 Pepe raced against the sports elite in the Czech Grand Prix, where he finished ahead of Tomasz Gollob and Chris Harris.

Pepe remains a Berwick asset despite being in his fourth season for the Newcastle Diamonds.

The move from Berwick to Newcastle has been seen by many as the undoubted making of Pepe as a rider, as he has progressed from being a second string to being a number one and as a formidable force both home and away in the Premier League.

He has made numerous Elite League guest appearances including an infamous win over British number 1 and Grand Prix star Scott Nicholls at Coventry (Scott's home track!!!).
